* Masks and social distancing are required at all times for those attending on site and will be enforced.

// About this event //

Of Hope will provide a space to share the hard stuff, a place to provide a sense of connection and normalcy through art during a time of unrest and fear, a place to feel seen, and an opportunity to bring live, place-based art back into Spenard after a year of struggle. As we move out of the darkness of winter and into the light of Spring, we also move from a place of despair to a place of hope. Join us on April 10th, at the Nave, to revel in community, art, and togetherness.

// How to watch //

SIT-IN Performance - This socially distant outdoor performance takes place in the parking lot of The Nave. If you choose SIT-IN Performance Tickets, limited bench seating will be placed around the performance area but we also welcome to bring your own seating such as camping chairs. To listen into the show's audio, attendees will need headphones and a way to tune into the broadcast. If you have a smart phone, you will be able to tune in by streaming through the main Anchorage Concert Association webpage (details will be emailed in advance as well as provided to you onsite). You will also be able to access the sound through small hand-held radios and headphones. There are a limited quantity of hand-held radios available for loan on a first-come, first serve-basis.

DRIVE-IN Performance - There are limited DRIVE-IN Performance Tickets for those that identify as high risk. Drive-In attendees will need to arrive early. Please pull in through the main parking lot where you will be directed to your spot by drive-in ushers. To tune into the broadcast, you can use a smart phone and stream the audio from the homepage of the Anchorage Concert Association website (details will be emailed and provided to you onsite) OR access the sound through your car radio.

VIRTUAL Performance - This show will stream live for individuals who are unable to attend in person. Your link will be emailed to you the morning of the performance and will go live at the scheduled show time of 8:30PM AKST on Saturday, April 10th.

// Partnership with NAMI Anchorage //

The event will discuss mental health and provide a connection to resources and services through NAMI Anchorage. In lieu of a ticket fee, donations to NAMI Anchorage are encouraged but not required. Mental health has always been an important topic for our communities, but even more so during the time of COVID when safety and security for many has been compromised.
